Cappavilla Village is an attractive apartment style residence located on the North Campus. It is situated adjacent to the Health Sciences building and the Irish World Academy. Built on the highest point of the campus, the views of the surrounding counties and the river Shannon are superb. Offering 2/4/6 bedroom apartments all ensuite, the village has its own launderette and games room.
The rooms do NOT have A/C but the temps are usually a high of 60 degrees. We always suggest a USB fan you can get for about $15 (on Amazon) so you can have a small breeze.
The Pavilion, where we eat most lunches and dinners, is right across the street and next to the North Campus Turf Fields. Most parents and families hang out around here evening hours and while the kids play on the fields the adults hang out and have a pint (or two) with one another. The area is very safe and usually a couple of parents will hang out at the fields.
